Anthony Joshua takes new job ahead of Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker heavyweight clash

Anthony Joshua is set to make his first media appearance since his defeat to Daniel Dubois, joining DAZN’s broadcast team for Saturday’s Last Crescendo event in Riyadh.

The two-time world heavyweight champion will join an all-star broadcast lineup alongside host Ade Oladipo and former world champions Barry Jones, Sergio Mora and Darren Barker.

The appearance comes five months after Joshua’s fifth-round knockout loss to Dubois at Wembley Stadium last September.

The bout could have major implications for Joshua’s future, with the winner potentially emerging as his next opponent.

Dubois will be making his first defence of the IBF belt he claimed from Joshua in their September clash.

The winner could potentially move on to face unified champion Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed title showdown.

Eddie Hearn has already begun plotting Joshua’s next move, with a world title shot firmly in his sights.

“Next week we’ll start discussions about what might be next,” Hearn told Boxing News.

The preference will always be to fight for the world heavyweight title,” the promoter added.

Hearn acknowledged potential complications, noting: “Maybe, we don’t know, Parker will have a rematch clause if he wins, is there a mandatory? I have no idea.”

The Last Crescendo event will be broadcast live on DAZN PPV, with the pay-per-view priced at £19.99 in both the UK and US.

Viewers purchasing the PPV will receive additional benefits, including alternative commentary options from Adam Smith, True Geordie, and Showbizz the Adult.

The package also includes local language commentary options and a seven-day free trial of the full DAZN platform.
