As Question Marks Continue to Haunt Emma Raducanu, Serena Williams’ Childhood Coach Backs….

and troughs in her career. At the 2021US Open

However, injuries and loss of form have led to a downfall since then, which has
affected Raducanu. Additionally, Raducanu has had constant changes to her
coaching staff, due to which consistency has been a far shot for her.

Macci, has remained optimistic about her.
Emma Raducanu has been sidelined due to injuries during most of the 2023
season. While she will aim to come back next year, here’s what Macci said about
her.

In an exclusive interview with The Telegraph, Serena Williams’ former coach
had some positive words about Raducanu. Additionally, he also hinted about
working with the Briton sometime in the future.

Further, he went on to add, “I know when you qualify and then win a Grand Slam
without losing a set you’ve got something special between the ears – and much
of the game is played between the ears.”

Macci has coached many young talents, and his views on Raducanu are worth
considering. Not only has Raducanu achieved US Open glory but also achieved a
top 10 ranking during her peak which led to Macci being optimistic about her.
