Fernando Alonso has declared Aston Martin’s current struggles unacceptable and thinks it will take more than “one man” to get things moving in the right direction again.

And 2024 has very much been more of the same. Aston Martin had the fifth-fastest car at the start of the year but ‘upgrades’ have not had the expected performance impact and even more teams have caught up as a result.
