Carlos Sainz Will Partner Fernando Alonso At Aston Martin Says

Former team owner and F1 insider Eddie Jordan has hinted that Carlos Sainz may join forces with Fernando Alonso at Aston Martin in the 2025 season. This move would pair Sainz with his childhood idol, marking a significant team shuffle.

The F1 community is buzzing with speculation as Jordan suggests this potential move, pairing the current Scuderia driver with his childhood hero. This revelation has come amidst a flurry of activity and speculation surrounding driver movements for the 2025 season after Lewis Hamilton confirmed his move to Ferrari from Mercedes.

“If Red Bull were to lose somebody like Max or want to replace Perez, you have to say that Carlos would be one of the key people.”

Despite the upheaval, Sainz has shown commendable professionalism and a positive outlook.

“It’s certainly not the most normal feeling to start the season,” Sainz admitted to Sky in Italy.

Continuing, he said:

“I am aware of how much I am worth as a driver. For this reason, when I look to the future, I am very calm.

“Good things will definitely come, but for now my goal is to give my best with Ferrari.

“In my career, I have always made steps forward. Improving more every year. This has always been and always will be my philosophy, and it will be the same this year.

“In 2024, I will turn 30 but I feel younger and more motivated than ever.”
