Chase Elliott willing to take on double duty like Kyle Larson

Chase Elliott is full of anticipation for the Indy 500, just like many other NASCAR drivers. The upcoming race at Brickyard marks the first time an active NASCAR driver has participated since 2016. The current 2021 Cup champion will be driving for Arrow McLaren, becoming the first driver in years to make this transition. During a discussion about Kyle Larson’s participation in the Indy 500, his teammate Chase Elliott expressed his excitement and eagerness to watch the race. In addition to supporting his fellow driver, watching the Indy 500 will help alleviate the anxiety that comes with preparing for the upcoming Coke 600 race on Sunday.

When asked if he would consider participating in the Memorial Day doubleheader, the 2020 NASCAR Cup champion left the possibility open, stating that he could do it if the circumstances align perfectly. Elliott’s teammate, on the other hand, finds it incredibly cool to see the Chevy No. 5 driver racing in the IndyCar series. He believes that if anyone is capable of achieving success in both NASCAR and IndyCar, it’s his teammate.
