Felix Gorner, a journalist who closely followed Michael Schumacher’s career, has provided new insight into the current health condition of the legendary Formula 1 driver.
According to Gorner, Schumacher requires constant care, is completely dependent on caregivers, and can no longer express himself verbally.
“The situation is very sad,” said Gorner, who is considered one of the journalists closest to Schumacher’s family and a reliable source on his health.
“He requires constant care and is completely dependent on his caregivers. And he can no longer express himself verbally,” he confirmed the darkest suspicions.
No more than 20 people have access to Schumacher, which the family sees as the right approach to protecting his privacy.
“Currently, at most 20 people can approach Michael. And, in my opinion, that is the right strategy. Because the family is acting in Michael’s best interest. They have always strictly protected his privacy, and that has not changed,” said Gorner.
Schumacher’s condition, after being placed in an induced coma and undergoing several surgeries following a skiing accident, remains shrouded in mystery, with only brief insights coming from his close circle.
The German is cared for by a team of medical staff and his wife Corinna, but official information about his condition has never been released, Klix.ba writes.
