Fans point to Denny Hamlin’s ongoing bad luck to Kyle Busch’s son

Fans are expressing concern for Kyle Busch’s son Brexton Busch after Denny Hamlin’s underwhelming performance in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series since the arrival of Lulu. A park ranger near the river found the dog, and the Hamlin family adopted it.

The Joe Gibbs Racing Team driver has seen a significant drop in his standings. Since then, he has been struggling to earn a favorable position or win a race. Now, the two-time Cup Series Champion’s son also posted an image of him with a dog on his X account. Brexton is having a smooth sail in his career and has 30 wins on 11 tracks in eight states. But now the fans are articulating their fears about the young talent connecting his latest post with Denny Hamlin’s fate.

Another commented, “Ask Uncle Denny how your luck will change little bro 😭”
“After Hamlin, I’m scared to click it. Let me see how Bristol plays out for your dad,” wrote a concerned fan.
Another fan warned Brexton, reminiscing about Denny Hamlin’s fate this season, and wrote, “We all know what happened once @dennyhamlin got a dog earlier this season.”

After Denny Hamlin’s recent story of Lulu’s adoption, one fan commented, “I heard @dennyhamlin has a dog you can have.”

On Denny Hamlin’s podcast Actions Detrimental, his co-host asked him about his encounter with his crew chief, Chris Gabehart. The #11 driver mentioned that Gabehart doesn’t believe in a “whole lot” of luck, but he wants to “explore removing” Lulu for a week and wants to see the results.
He (Gabehart) definitely wants to explore removing the dog off the premises for one week and see what happens. Chris Gabehart, an avid listener of Actions Detrimental, he doesn’t believe in luck a whole lot, he believes in being prepared and things like that and I agree with him. But holy cow the results are not good with Lulu so far. I don’t know what to do,” Hamlin said.
