Fernando Alonso has a new girlfriend following rumours he was dating Taylor Swift.
The two-time F1 champion, 43, had fans on tenterhooks for weeks last year after continuously hinting that he’d shacked up with Swift, 34. He posted videos on social media dancing to her music and winking at the camera, and even smirked at a reporter when he asked about rumours of an entanglement.
A year has passed since then and Swift has a brand new beau, NFL ace Travis Kelce. But while their romance has been plastered all over the papers, little is known about Alonso’s latest fling.

The Spaniard is now said to be dating a colleague (of sorts), having cosied up to DAZN F1 reporter Melissa Jimenez. She’s been pictured interviewing him on the grid ahead of several races over the past year, though the pair have decided not to go public with their relationship yet.
Jimenez, 36, used to be married to ex-Barcelona footballer Marc Bartra, now at Real Betis, and has three kids with him. Rumours that Alonso and Jimenez were dating surfaced as early as May last year, shortly after Fernando announced he’d split from long-term partner Andrea Schlager.
