Two-time Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso has hit back at rumors that he is dating Taylor Swift, posting a video of himself winking while listening to one of the pop superstar’s hit songs.
The 41-year-old Spaniard was said to have started a relationship with the famous artist from a post that appeared on Instagram DeuxMoi.
“According to them, the couple has been dating for a week now. Nothing serious since both are recently single,” the article said.
The 33-year-old and Alwyn have been together for six years after reportedly meeting at the Met Gala in 2016, and their relationship was marred by many rumors that they got engaged or even married in secret.
Just over a year after their dates, the former couple were photographed together in 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Alonso and sports commentator Schlager also kept their romance out of the public eye as much as possible after revealing they met through Formula 1.
The Aston Martin driver shared the news of the split on Instagram, writing: “We want to inform you that our relationship as a couple has come to an end.”
