 Giannis Antetokounmpo Made Exciting NBA History In Mavs-Bucks Game

On Saturday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks are hosting the Dallas Mavericks in Wisconsin. 

During the game, two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo made exciting NBA history.Via NBA History: “With his 5th rebound tonight, Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded his 7,000th career rebound, and became the youngest player in NBA history to record 16K+ points, 7K+ rebounds, and 3K+ assists in a career: Giannis Antetokounmpo, 28 years-347 days 

Antetokounmpo is in the middle of another fantastic season and is averaging 28.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest while shooting 58.0% from the field in 11 games. 

The Bucks entered the evening with an 8-4 record in their first 12 games, which has them as the third seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and most recently defeated the Charlotte Hornets by a score of 130-99 (on Friday) in North Carolina. 

Following the Mavs, the Bucks will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards. 

Antetokounmpo was the 15th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft and has spent his entire career with Milwaukee. 

He has led the Bucks to the NBA playoffs for seven straight seasons, and they won the 2021 NBA Championship over Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns. 

Last year, Antetokounmpo averaged 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per contest while shooting 55.3% from the field.
