Rising ATP star Hamad Medjedovic has revealed that the current world number one Novak Djokovic has helped him in more than one way in his career.
The 36-year-old is famous for raising his voice regarding the financial structure of the sport. It is for this reason, that he became the co-founder of an organisation called the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA).
Medjedovic was recently quoted in a report where he stated that Djokovic has given him whatever he needed to succeed at the highest level.
Novak Djokovic’s been helping me out financially. Giving me whatever I need for my career,” he said. “He covered it all. He just helped me out when I needed it and [is] still helping me out in all types of ways. I’m glad he’s there for me.”

Serbia’s legendary tennis player is often regarded as the greatest player in the history of the men’s singles category in the Open era.
Djokovic won his 24th Grand Slam title recently in New York where he lifted the US Open after beating the current world number three Russia’s Daniil Medvedev in the final with a score of 6-3, 7-6, 6-3.
With that win, the Belgrade-born ended up winning three out of the four Grand Slams in 2023.
His only defeat in a major tournament this year came in the final at Wimbledon where he lost to Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz.
