INDIANAPOLIS — Last year, when Kyle Larson realized his dream of attempting the Indianapolis 500/Coca-Cola 600 “Double” was becoming a reality, one of the first moves he made was to secure a familiar voice in his ear.

Tyler Monn, who is in his fourth year as Larson’s NASCAR Cup Series spotter, is accompanying Larson on the back-and-forth travels to give the driver a much-needed comfort factor while he races the Indy 500 for the first time.
