Retired stock car driver Ernie Irvan recently spoke to NASCAR, revealing that he loves watching Chase Elliott the most. Chase Elliott currently drives the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports. Besides winning the 2020 Cup Series championship, Elliott was voted the Most Popular Driver for six years in a row. The Dawsonville native, therefore, is one of the most sought-after athletes in NASCAR.
So much so that even Ernie ‘Swevin’ Irvan expressed his admiration for Chase Elliott’s driving style and personality. Ernie Irvan himself has been an exceptional racecar driver with 15 wins throughout his Cup career that spanned over 12 years. He is best known for his comeback after surviving a life-threatening head injury during the 1994 Miller Genuine Draft 400 at Michigan International Speedway.When asked to name the driver who Irvan enjoys watching the most, the 65-year-old Californian said,
