Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant made his season debut at FedExForum in a home over the Indiana Pacers and had a cute father-daiughter moment during the postgame interview.
Morant, 24, tried getting his four-year-old daughter Kaari Jaidyn to say the catchphrase he uses after winning at home. She wasn’t up for it at that very moment, but had a smile from ear-to-ear that made the clip go viral.

Morant wanted his daughter to say: “It’s a parade inside my city, yeah.” Maybe next time. For now, Grizzlies are 2-0 since the return of their franchise player.

Grizzlies (8-19) did not have Morant for the first 25 games of the 2023-24 NBA season and currently sit in 13th place of the Western Conference standings
Morant is clearly a difference maker and could definitely save the team’s season. It’s still not too late to turn things around.
Having his daughter around after turning a new lead seems like Morant’s head is in the right place now that he returned from a lengthy suspension.
