Ja Morant Gets Crucial Update From Grizzlies Legend as he might…

Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is recovering well from his shoulder injury, so much so that team legend Zach Randolph sees Grind City returning to the top once the star guard suits up next season.

In the latest episode of Paul George’s Podcast P show, Randolph gave an update on Morant’s injury recovery, revealing that he was able to meet and talk with the superstar guard just recently.

After returning from his 25-game suspension, Morant played just nine matches in 2023-24 due to a torn labrum that needed season-ending surgery.

“Next year everybody gonna come back healthy. I talked to Ja [Morant], seen him a couple weeks ago and he’s looking good and ready. He’s been working hard and his shoulder is healing,” Randolph shared.

Z-Bo then went on to share his belief that the Grizzlies will be back in contention for the top spot in the West in 2024-25 as the team gets to full health, not only Morant but also the rest of the team.

As many Memphis fans would know, a lot of Grizzlies players dealt with injuries and missed a ton of games such as Brandon Clarke (Achilles), Marcus Smart (finger) and Desmond Bane (back), to name a few.

It will definitely be interesting to see how the Grizzlies play once the whole squad is healthy. In the nine games that Morant played in, Memphis actually went 6-3. They won just six in the 25 games he was suspended.

In 2022-23, the Grizzlies had the second-best record in the West at 51-31. And sure enough, it’s safe to expect that they will be able to reach the same heights in 2024-25–if they don’t suffer any health setback that is.
