Memphis Grizzlies leader Ja Morant has more injury setbacks. Energetic point guard picked up multiple hip injuries against the Los Angeles Lakers, and will be followed on a weekly basis.
This time, it’s Ja Morant who is set for rest in an upcoming period, after an injury sustained during the match against the Los Angeles Lakers.
According to Memphis Grizzlies’ PR release, Morant suffered a posterior hip subluxation, along with multiple Grade 1 pelvic muscle strains. It’s important to note that there was no dislocation of Morant’s hip.

Morant’s status will be followed on a weekly basis, and Grizzlies will accordingly inform the public about his health in the meantime.
Injury occurred when Morant tried to catch a lob in the third quarter, before having contact mid-air with Christian Koloko and falling on his hip. Referees declared that as a no-call.
Through his first eight games of the season, Morant averaged 20.6 points, a career-high 9.1 assists, and 5.0 rebounds.
