The Memphis Grizzlies
/ have had the worst
possible start to the 2023-24 season. The team has only managed to win only 3
games in their 14-game run so far. And Ja Morant’s absence played a huge role
in the team’s troubling times. The same side clocked in 51 wins and finished
second in the Western Conference in the last season. However, things can take a
turn, as Morant will be available after 11 more games, and the 24-year-old star
seems more determined to get back on the court than ever. He recently revealed
three things that he is grateful for amidst the Thanksgiving day spirits.
The Grizzlies star has been undergoing a necessary arc in his NBA career. The
team’s valuable asset went through a roller-coaster ride because of his
questionable actions during the last season. And importantly, he is paying the
price for it, with a 25-game suspension. The star’s recent social media
activity hinted that he was waiting to don the Grizzlies jersey again.
The All-Star barely used his social media handles in the off-season, apart
from reacting to the Grizzlies’ off-season trades. In the same spirit, he
recently took to IG stories to revealthree things that he is grateful for

. Ja shared a post on his stories that read,“Hey god, it’s me again, thank you,”
followed by images of things he is grateful for.
The team carried out two major trades ahead of the season, Marcus Smart and
Derrick Rose. But, it hasn’t had any effect on the team’s performance on the
court. None of the stars have stepped in the absence of Ja. Desmond Bane and
Jaren Jackson Jr. have been the lone warriors who are currently delivering the
goods. The situation could change once the star re-joins the team, but the
current roster should make sure that the 25-game suspension isn’t too late for
a revival.
