Kyle Busch’s wife Samantha made a lewd joke at his expense after he came up short in a NASCAR race last season, being pipped at the line by two rivals.
NASCAR legend Kyle Busch’s wife, Samantha, poked fun at her husband after the two-time Cup Series champion came up short at the Ambetter Health 400 last season. The 39-year-old crossed the line in third by the tightest of margins, finishing just 0.007 seconds behind the winner, Daniel Suárez, with Ryan Blaney settling for second place.
Busch took to Instagram to express his disappointment at the time. The race win would’ve fired Busch to the Cup Series playoffs, which he went on to miss after going winless in 2024. “Can’t get much closer than that. Needed a couple more inches,” Busch said.
“I’ve been telling you that for almost 20 years,” his wife Samantha joked. Busch is a bonafide future NASCAR Hall of Famer, with 63 Cup Series wins and two titles in 2015 and 2019. However, Busch has set his sights on finally winning the Daytona 500. The 2025 NASCAR season starts next month.
