Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson is arguably the most talented driver of his generation. His 2021 NASCAR Cup Series title win on his debut season with HMS was one of the most dominant performances ever in the sports history. He won 10 races on his way to the championship and marked his place in NASCAR history.
In the very next-season, NASCAR debuted the Next-Gen car and it has gotten the field much closer than ever and has given multiple drivers the opportunity to score wins. In the 2022 season 19 different drivers won at least one Cup race and in the 2023 season 15 different driver won races. But regardless of this tough competition, Kyle Larson feels winning 10 races is possible in the 7th gen era, but it would be tougher than before.
2022, the champion Joey Logano was the most successful wit five race wins and in 2023 it was championship third place finisher Willaim Byron the winningest with six triumphs. The drives have proven that with the right car they can secure the most wins, but 10-victory lane visit can only be archivable if the racer has a fastest car in almost all the races.

Kyle Larson is curious about what Bristol has in store for Sunday
The champion driver on the same interview discussed about the struggle drivers had during the practice and qualifying session at Bristol due to the resin that was put on the track. He pointed out that the changes won’t affect the final race outcome and asserted that it would features lead racers battle to avoid lapped car traffic like in the past.
Yeah, mostly the same. I’m curious to get on track and see how this resin or whatever that’s supposedly different is supposed to feel. But Bristol’s Bristol, so you’re going to catch a lot of traffic and have to move around. So yeah, I don’t foresee it looking way different, but it could be slightly different. Larson said.
Larson was on of the front runners at the track last season and it is most likely that his prediction would come true. Two times Cup champion Kyle Busch has also given a similar verdict. He pointed out that resin most probably won’t be a factor after the initial 100-200 laps of the race.
