Hear from Kyle Larson, Rico Abreu, Brad Sweet and Kasey Kahne as they talk racing in Nebraska as part of the High Limit Sprint Car Series!
A week night became race night in Nebraska on Tuesday evening.
Several former and current racing stars took to the dirt at Eagle Raceway outside of Lincoln, as the High Limit Sprint Car Series made its way to the Cornhusker state.
Brad Sweet, Co-Creator for High Limit talked more about the series.
“The High Limit Sprint Car Series is the 410 winged sprint car series that Kyle Larson and I started,” Sweet said. “FloRacing is the subscription based, pay-per-view platform that broadcasts the races. We were able to do a 12-race mid-week series that works around Kyle Larson, our superstar that headlines a lot of these shows, but we have a lot of racers from across the country that come out and support these events.”

2021 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kyle Larson won this event the last time it was in Nebraska in 2017.
“I really loved this track,” Larson said. “I loved the atmosphere, the crowd was great and they just haven’t raced 410 sprint cars, so I know the fans have been wanting to see 410 cars here again, so when we talked about the series, this is the one track I said over and over we had to get back to.”
For Rico Abreu, who finished second in the main feature, coming to Nebraska is special as his fiancé is from the area, and comes from deep racing ties.
“I don’t get to race in this state much, but I spend time here throughout the year,” Abreu said. “Obviously Meagan [Abreu’s fiancé] is a Droud, the success their family has had racing cars in the state of Nebraska… lots of family history.’
