After one of the longest-running transfer sagas in recent memory, Mbappe finally left Paris Saint-Germain for Real Madrid earlier this summer. Now, Los Blancos fan Alonso has spoken about the 25-year-old’s transfer, his hopes for the upcoming season – including retaining their Champions League crown – and more.
On Mbappe’s signing, the Aston Martin driver told DAZN: “Very happy after a long wait of six or seven years in which the signing was almost done. He has finally arrived and he will be an incredible reinforcement for Madrid, I hope he is successful.”
When asked about the club’s dominance, he added: “The Champions League is enough for me.”

Mbappe was prolific for PSG down the years, winning more than a dozen trophies and scoring 256 goals in 308 games. Most of those goals came as a left-sided forward but he may play as a number nine at Madrid – which will certainly test his credentials.
