Lewis Hamilton has made Formula 1 history just days into the new era at Ferrari.

The seven-time world champion now dons the Scuderia’s iconic colours following his blockbuster move from grid rivals Mercedes.

the second move of the 40-year-old’s career having made his F1 debut for McLaren before switching to Mercedes in 2013.

Hamilton was officially unveiled by Ferrari at their Maranello home on Monday and took to Instagram to share his long-awaited first picture.

The Brit was stood next to an F40 sports car and in front of founder Enzo Ferrari’s old house as part of their grand presentation.

new teammate Charles Leclerc previously held the title when a post from his Italian Grand Prix win last year reached 4.6 million likes.

However, Hamilton has now taken top spot with an image that appeared to subtly hint his on-track ambitions for his debut season.
