Lewis Hamilton left ‘crying inside’ as touching Michael Schumacher’s..

The long wait is finally over. Race week is here. The Australian Grand Prix will kickstart the 2025 F1 season this weekend as cars return to the track at the iconic Albert Park street circuit.

are the title favourites heading into the new season after a strong pre-season test in Bahrain, but the Brit will face a number of challengers. One of these could be his team-mate, Oscar Piastri, who won two Grands Prix during his sophomore year and completed every lap over the 24 events.

Speaking in pre-season, he said: “Yeah, of course there are differences. I’m not going to comment about the differences itself, but there’s a lot of positives with the Ferrari power units and initially it’s a very different way of using all the systems.

“But we’ve simplified a lot and it now feels a lot more common to how I would have imagined to use it.

“It was a bit of a shock initially in Abu Dhabi, but on track, performance-wise, it’s working super well and it fits very well with the strength of the car as well. So, yeah, all good on that side.”

Damon Hill believes Jack Doohan will be feeling “uncomfortable” ahead of this weekend’s Formula One opener.

He said: “It is very uncomfortable for him, it’s very hard. I mean, there’s nothing…you just got your first full season lined up and people are talking about you being replaced, I mean that must be very unnerving because you don’t know what the team are thinking.

“You try to get some sort of indication from the team as to whether or not that’s something he should worry about.

“But there’s stuff you can control and stuff you can’t control and I think that he will know he’s got to do a job and if he does it well, they’ll keep him and that’ll be all sorted.”
