Marc Marquez Secures Top Podium at MotoGP Spain 2025 Sprint Race

Marc Marquez secured the top podium at the MotoGP Spain 2025 Sprint Race on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Although the starting grid position was filled by Fabio Quartararo, Marc Marquez was able to chase and claim victory.

Marquez quickly surged as the race began. Quartararo calmly overtook him from the inside in the first corner, taking the lead. Meanwhile, Alex Marquez moved up to third place after passing Francesco Bagnaia.

However, misfortune struck Quartararo on the second lap. The Yamaha rider fell in the sixth corner after Marc Marquez overtook him from the inside without contact. Quartararo seemed to lose his balance and slid into the gravel.

Marc Marquez immediately took over the lead in the MotoGP Spain 2025 Sprint Race. Alex Marquez followed closely behind, with a one-second difference, and Bagnaia followed suit.

In addition to Quartararo, Jack Miller and Johann Zarco also fell in the second corner. This incident prevented both of them from continuing the MotoGP Spain 2025 Sprint Race at the Jerez Circuit.

Marc Marquez continued to maintain the lead until the seventh lap and was difficult to catch for Alex Marquez, with a 1.267-second difference. Meanwhile, Bagnaia also continued to chase, narrowing the gap to 0.935 seconds to stick with Alex.

There were no changes until the last lap. Marc Marquez successfully completed the MotoGP Spain 2025 Sprint Race as the champion with a 1.139-second lead over Alex Marquez.
