New details of Max Verstappen’s radio during the Miami Grand Prix have emerged, and he wasn’t happy with McLaren star Lando Norris.
On Sunday, in-form McLaren driver Oscar Piastri came from fourth on the grid to win the Miami Grand Prix, ahead of teammate Norris and Mercedes’ George Russell.
Reigning champion Verstappen shocked fans during Saturday’s qualifying session as he claimed pole position for Sunday’s race, before ultimately finishing in fourth after several clashes with Norris.
The two rivals clearly weren’t happy with each other throughout the race, but unheard messages from Verstappen shows exactly how angry he was about his battle with Norris on Sunday.
Heading into the 2025 season, many fans anticipated that the title would once again be contested by both Verstappen and Norris, with the Brit tipped by many to finally win it this year due to the McLaren car’s superiority over the rest of the grid.
Although it is Piastri that is currently leading the drivers’ standings, both Verstappen and Norris have won races this season and appear to be right in the mix for the 2025 title, meaning every point matters.
However, the first time Norris got past Verstappen, all four of his wheels were over the white lines, meaning he had to immediately give the position back, and the Red Bull driver wasn’t happy.
“He went off the track. Can’t drive me off the track, so I need a position back.
“If he passes me now, that’s illegal.”
