Fernando Alonso could partner Max Verstappen at Red Bull next season, according to reports from Germany.
However, German outlet F1 Insider claim that the team are set to replace him with Alonso in 2025. The report states that Alonso is Christian Horner’s ‘preferred candidate’ and Verstappen’s camp ‘already knows’ about the plan.
Red Bull are said to already be in advanced talks with Alonso, who reportedly believes he can win a third F1 world title if he joins. And former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher believes the 42-year-old would be a “good fit”.
