For Mick Schumacher, the dream of returning to Formula 1 is still alive—but the road back to the grid remains uncertain. 2022: Showed improvement, scoring his first F1 points at the British Grand Prix (P8), followed by a sixth-place finish in Austria. However, a series of high-profile crashes and inconsistent results led Haas to drop him in favor of Nico Hülkenberg for 2023.

WEC success could keep him relevant. If Schumacher excels in endurance racing, he could follow a similar path to Alonso and use WEC success as leverage to get back into F1.
