Michael Schumacher’s recent trip to Switzerland was planned in advance and was ‘independent’ to the birth of his newborn granddaughter, reports say.
The German’s daughter, Gina Schumacher, recently announced the birth of baby Millie – having tied the knot with boyfriend Iain Bethke at a special ceremony last year.
Reports in Germany have claimed that Schumacher, who hasn’t been seen in public since his devastating skiing accident in 2013, jetted out to Switzerland to meet the newest addition of the family.
The Formula One legend, who won seven titles, usually resides in Majorca.
