During the Grizzlies’ 106-98 win over the Spurs, 5′9″ Ja Morant dunked on 7′4″ Victor Wembanyama. Wemby says he’s hard to catch because he’s small and fast.
It’s not all about height in the NBA and that was proven in Tuesday night’s game between the San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies when all eyes were on the matchup between Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama and Grizzlies star Ja Morant.
The Grizzlies broke a three-game losing streak, beating the Spurs 106-98. Morant put up 26 of those points, including one impressive dunk over 7′4″ Wemby.

Morant, who’s just 5′9″, let out a roar to the crowd in celebration as the Grizzlies extended their lead over the Spurs in the 4th quarter after that dunk. As for Wemby, he said that Morant is “hard to catch”.
“[Morant is] a very good player. Very small, so it’s hard to catch up with him. And he’s very fast,” said Wemby. “It’s just another great player out there I see every night. In the NBA, everyone gets a franchise player who’s causing problems.”
