Why Rafael Nadal had to breakup with his girlfriend to improve his life

ABC gave more details on Maria Francisca Perello, Rafael Nadal’s longtime girlfriend and future wife. Maria studied Administration and Direction of companies in the Balearic Islands University. She did not make people notice she was Nadal’s girlfriend.

Then she started working in the department of Communication in Palma de Mallorca. Then she worked in London for Mapfre, which is connected to Nadal. She is currently the director of social integration of the Rafa Nadal Foundation which is based in Barcelona and ran by Nadal’s mother Ana Maria Parera.

In 2013 the couple bought a €4 million worth chalet where they live. Maria understands the sacrifices that her future husband does to keep competing at the highest level. They started dating each other in 2005. She rarely speaks about their relationship.
