Chase Elliott has been no stranger to high-profile sponsorships throughout his NASCAR Cup Series career. This summer, his No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet is set to take on a whole new look. According to multiple sources, Elliott is expected to be backed by none other than Olivia “Livvy” Dunne and Accelerator, a rapidly growing energy drink brand, for a yet-to-be-announced race.
For those unfamiliar, Dunne is a social media sensation and star gymnast at LSU, boasting millions of followers across TikTok and Instagram. She’s no stranger to the motorsports world either, having previously attended NASCAR events and even sharing moments with Elliott.
In June 2023, she was seen at Nashville Superspeedway, mingling with drivers and enjoying the race-day atmosphere. Could that visit have been the start of something bigger?
If the reports are true, this partnership would mark a significant crossover between NASCAR’s traditional fanbase and the younger, influencer-driven market. Dunne’s massive following could bring a fresh wave of attention to Elliott and Hendrick Motorsports, while Accelerator—a brand known for its presence in fitness and extreme sports—would add another layer to Elliott’s growing list of sponsors.
Adding fuel to the speculation, NASCAR reporter Joseph Srigley revealed that a “team announcement” is scheduled for Feb. 23 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, which many believe will confirm the sponsorship deal. While details on which race Accelerator will be the primary sponsor for remain unclear, one thing is certain: if this partnership materializes, it will be one of the most talked-about deals of the 2025 season.
Hendrick Motorsports has yet to make an official statement, but if history has shown us anything, where there’s smoke, there’s fire. NASCAR fans, keep your eyes peeled, Elliott’s ride may be getting a whole new look—and audience—this summer
